Selected from among six firms, Ergonet has been mandated to design the new website of the Commission de la Construction du Québec and implement its content management system
Montreal, May 31, 2005 -- After a careful selection process in which a group of finalists were asked to present an effective website content management solution, the CCQ opted for Ergonet's proposal.
Selection criteria essentially emphasized the capacity for personalized communications with diverse clienteles, user-friendliness for editors, and use of a consistent content approval and management tool.
The solution would also be used to develop a visual template highlighing the organization's attributes and communications tools in an environment designed for flexibility and the optimization of communications opportunities.
The proposal was based on the Sitecore content management tool. Ergonet became Sitecore's principal strategic partner in Quebec after conducting a rigorous internal technological watch. Developed in Denmark, where it is an industry leader, this multilingual platform is used by prestigious organizations like Web Trends and Reuters.
"The modular design, performance/cost ratio and Sitecore's multiple attributes make it possible for us to offer highly competitive concepts that set us apart. Because the CCQ had clearly defined the key elements of its new site, it was in a position to appreciate the full potential of this solution," commented Ergonet President Pierre Campeau.
